Got Rocks?

M-J de Mesterton began painting her stone visions in 1972, and made her first big, mystical rock painting at Cornish School of Allied Arts in 1975. Since M-J posted her unique, original, independently-conceived rock and gem paintings on the internet in 2007, the images have been among the most-viewed on the web. Suddenly, the rock motif is being used in fashion, accessories and textiles; the jewelry world is replicating some of M-J's original compositions using gemstones and  rocks. Other painters are trying to get into the rock act as well, some having gone so far as to copy M-J de Mesterton's original compositions and color-schemes.
